Our Heritage
Anna’s Café was created by Chef Charlie, a Thai chef who previously owned a respected Thai restaurant in San Francisco, where he once cooked for President George W. Bush.

The story of Anna’s Café Journey & Its Rebirth
What began as a small restaurant with just 10 tables quickly became one of Thailand’s most talked-about dining destinations. Celebrities, actors, and public figures regularly visited, while Chef Charlie was often featured on television and national media. The restaurant eventually expanded to over 5 locations across Thailand, welcoming even members of the Thai Royal Family.
Who is Anna?
The name “Anna” was inspired by Anna Leonowens, the English teacher who served in the royal court of Siam during the reign of King Rama V. in Thailand.
During a period of political unrest in Thailand, the country faced major disruption and the Anna’s Café locations eventually closed.

Blending Thai heritage with modern global flavors, every dish is crafted to deliver a luxurious yet welcoming culinary journey.

A New Chapter Of Anna’s Café BY “Brian Cosar”
Brian Cosar, an American-Turkish entrepreneur raised in the restaurant world and son-in-law of Chef Charlie, leads the rebirth of Anna’s Café with youthful energy and a modern culinary vision while honoring its timeless legacy. Starting in restaurants at just 10 years old, he developed strong restaurant and franchise management skills and went on to build multiple food businesses, including Poke I Love You.
Brian has always sought the opportunity to return to a full-service restaurant, bringing a unique atmosphere to the area while honoring Anna’s Café’s history, and now operates both concepts together in tribute to his father-in-law’s legacy.
